For this reason, from a very young age we have been involved in cultural associations, local newspapers and organization of events.<\/p>\n In 2012 we were already finalists with our first project in ACTUAUPM (Business creation program of the Polytechnic University of Madrid). After this, I ended up working in the German bathroom sector in Munich (Birk GmbH) and there we found the inspiration to incardinate ourselves with the bathroom sector.<\/p>\n The company was losing market share due to the rise of online platforms in the bathroom sector in Central Europe and that is when we saw the business opportunity.<\/p>\n What does your project consist of?<\/p>\n Banium is the only platform that specializes solely in the bathroom, which makes it the best support for the consumer when it comes to reforming this space. Banium is the platform with the most references for bathroom equipment products, it offers the best guaranteed price in more than 80% manufacturers and is the only one that provides personalized specialist advice to the end customer.<\/p>\n Banium also has a gaming process and consumer qualification with a bank of ideas, 3D modeler, automatic appraisal of reforms, etc.<\/p>\n At what stage of development is it?<\/p>\n It is a good moment for banium in that it is finding scalability in some of its business lines, which is allowing us to grow in the environment of 20-30% per month.<\/p>\n What have been the biggest difficulties you have encountered when starting your project?<\/p>\n At first, I worked hard every afternoon when I got back home, communicating by Skype with my partner in Spain to program the first drafts of the platform. Also deciding to take the hard step of leaving my position in the company and rejecting counter offers to stay was perhaps the turning point that marked the beginning.<\/p>\n What do you value most about the network of nurseries of the Madrid City Council?<\/p>\n The care of the facilities is one of the aspects that we like the most. The truth is that they are very well treated and seem to be like the first day.<\/p>\n The wide variety of training sessions held in the nurseries is also very positive. Thanks to them you can learn quite a few techniques to apply on a day-to-day basis at work.<\/p>\n What project or projects in the nursery have caught your attention the most?<\/p>\n We like the Deltana project as it offers solutions to companies in the field of civil engineering and architecture worldwide. It seems to us a very complex and very necessary task.<\/p>\n What would you propose to improve and promote the entrepreneurial culture in Spain?<\/p>\n Stop painting the world of the entrepreneur as the panacea for the production system, stop turning it into a show or political propaganda and be realistic, teach to value the resources available and value what we want for our lives.
