The objective of TYM is, through specialized psychological techniques, to promote the personal, social and professional development of all sports agents: athletes, coaches, male and female referees and their support network, always bearing in mind the preservation of mental health and psychological well-being that causes a positive impact in its social context.<\/p>\n
All of this through individual sessions, training courses for sports technicians and coaches, counseling for fathers and mothers, initiation sessions and promotion of values in the sporting context, and sessions on sports psychology in esports or video games.<\/p>\n
We know TYM better<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n What does your project consist of?<\/b> To help improve others. And it's not just one. It is seven people. One thought it, others dreamed it and together they put it into action. TYM (Train Your Mind), to summarize, is a center of Psychology applied to Sport made up of a multidisciplinary team of seven professionals with training related to Psychology and Sport and with extensive experience as athletes.<\/p>\n The objective of TYM is, through specialized psychological techniques, to increase the performance and quality of athletes, coaches and their support network, favoring personal and professional development and always keeping in mind the preservation of mental health and the values of the sport. TYM always works as a team with the coordinators, the rest of the technicians and other workers, since the fundamental task is to complement what is already done and not to replace anyone.<\/p>\n The desire that my colleagues transmitted. In the first place, the personal moment of each of the members of TYM was key, since we had all just finished the Master's Degree in Sports Psychology at the Autonomous University and it was the ideal moment to take the next step: moving from theory to practice. Later, the good moment that psychology is experiencing within sport pushed us to go one step further. And also the fact that we preferred to work as a team, because we complement each other wonderfully, instead of trying to make room for ourselves individually. Maybe at the beginning out of fear of what is out there, but now I am telling you that because we are convinced that it is the best formula.<\/p>\n The most important thing of all is to have good training. Entering the world of work can only be done with a proper foundation. Therefore, it is crucial to maintain the ability to learn every day. of all From then on, you need courage, patience, enthusiasm, the ability to overcome, motivation, calm, tenacity, pride... A compendium of everything because there is tough competition on the street, a lot of demands (yours and others) and numerous emergencies in the form of of bills to pay. An entrepreneur must be a waterproof rock. Entrepreneurship is not easy, since the help that there is now is not enough and sometimes you find more obstacles than support to start a business. The world of the entrepreneur should already be an independent block in any political debate on television.<\/p>\n Without a doubt, the administrative issue. Starting a business is complicated. Choosing the legal form is already tremendous. Fulfilling hundreds of procedures, insufferable. The same because I had never faced something like this but, above all, because few facilities are given. The entrepreneur needs a red carpet. Those of us who come from another world, that of employees, have understood that being self-employed is equivalent to being a hero.<\/p>\n Well, without it sounding like a rally or seeming like I've been paid to say it (I wish I did), the best thing I've found has been the collaboration, affection and understanding of the Madrid Business Incubators. First in Vic\u00e1lvaro and now in San Blas. Everything is close. And it is appreciated. Working here is like being at home.<\/p>\n For us it is essential. First, because it gives us the opportunity to be in a professional space, with everything we need, at a reasonable price. And that, when you are starting, is very, very important. We also highly value that we always have professionals nearby or around us who can advise and guide you on a thousand issues that we do not control so much. It is also important that they help you contact a very interesting target for the company. And, to top it off, the office neighbors are not those of a normal community. In our first experience we found those who are now our advisors. And in this second stage, in just a few days, we have received nothing but pats on the back, winks and encouragement. When we are millionaires we will have a big party with all of them.<\/p>\n The entrepreneur is already tired of good words, harangues and encouragement from institutions and politicians. What they need is help and, above all, quotas for the self-employed by billing sections. That is the way to show that they care about us, that they need us and protect us. It's the future. Unemployment is on the rise, companies continue to lay off or have forgotten to hire, and there are thousands of students in universities who finish their degrees without hope. Putting a compulsory subject related to entrepreneurship I see as fundamental. I am also a journalist and in my career I would give you a list of twenty subjects that I would have removed for having taken this one.<\/p>\n The professionalism. No one looks at you over their shoulder or makes a 'where are you going' face. Quite the contrary. Help, help and more help. I pass other entrepreneurs in the corridor and we greet each other as comrades. I really like the atmosphere of enthusiasm and optimism that is breathed.<\/p>\n Of course. But annual. Nothing elective or quarterly. And not only in the University. Also in high schools and if you rush me at school. I first heard the word entrepreneur when I was in my twenties. And I assure you that my children, if one day I have them, will hear it shortly after learning who Santa Claus is. If only I had known before\u2026 The more education you have in respect, the more freedom you will have in the future. I have said that being an entrepreneur is hard but I also say that it allows you not to have bosses. And, I assure you: there is no greater motivation than that.<\/p>\n That before proposing, read and study. That before acting, think. That before investing, study the market. That before contracting, they coexist. And that when you have things clear, they dare without fear. There are times when you have to take risks. There are other times when you have to know how to suffer. But what you have to do always, and not some days yes and others no, is to trust that talent multiplies with work.<\/p>\n Yes.
