The Community of Madrid allocates 4,000,000 euros in this year 2019 to improve the energy efficiency of the industrial sector.
It is a multiannual grant of direct concession, which is part of the actions proposed by the National Energy Efficiency Action Plan 2014-2020, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)
These aids are Its purpose is to encourage and promote the performance of actions in SMEs and large companies in the industrial sector, which reduce carbon dioxide emissions and final energy consumption, by improving energy efficiency, thus contributing to achieving the objectives of reducing the consumption set by the European Union.
SMEs and large companies in the industrial sector of the Community of Madrid may be recipients of this aid (you can consult the CNAE corresponding to the activities included in the Regulatory Bases).
The maximum amount of aid will be 2,000,000 euros per project and 4,000,000 euros per last recipient of the aid.
The energy saving and efficiency actions that are the object of the aid must be carried out within the territorial scope of the Community of Madrid and fit into one of the following typologies:
- Improvement of technology in equipment and industrial processes
- Implementation of energy management systems
Given the incentive nature of the aid, the actions that are the object of the aid may not have been initiated prior to the date of registration of the aid application, and will have a maximum term for completion of 24 months from the date of notification of the aid. concession resolution.
The application submission period is open from August 15, 2019, until the available budget is exhausted or until December 31, 2020.
