Published the XIII edition of Entrepreneurship Awards convened by the Madrid City Council. Starting tomorrow, March 17, the application period is open. submission of applications.
The main objective of this award is to contribute to the recognition of original, creative and innovative projects carried out by women to promote and promote the female entrepreneurship, opening doors to the generation of employment and increased economic activity in the city of Madrid, contributing to eliminating the existing gender gap.
Requirements
The Entrepreneur Award 2023 addressed to women-led businesses. can participate Physical persons or legal persons with a majority participation of women (more than 50%) in the shares or participations.
To participate in this edition, companies must have started their business activity between January 1, 2018 and the last day of the deadline established to submit applications. They must also be billing in January 2023.
Additionally, they must have a business project that is original, creative, disruptive and innovative, with or without a technological base, aimed at covering needs in different areas (environment, health and well-being, gastronomy, education, commerce, fashion, finance, e-commerce, tourism, industry, infrastructure, logistics , energy or similar). Lastly, they must have a service or a prototype of a tested product in the market with already measured or measurable results.
Awards
The first prize “Entrepreneur of the year 2023” is endowed with €20,000; the second, with 15,000 euros; and the third, with 10,000 euros. 11 second prizes will also be awarded, financially endowed with 5,000 euros each one of them.
In turn, the winning companies will receive different contributions in kind from the sponsors: Womenalia, the Spanish Association of Business Women of Madrid (ASEME), the Hotel Business Association of Madrid (AEHM), the King Juan Carlos University (URJC), wave madrid, PwC Spain and IBM.
