Final touch of the acceleration program of Villaverde and Carabanchel

• The finalist projects presented their business before a jury of experts and the Madrid Emprende community
• The Vendor Video and Ophthademy projects received recognition for the best pitch

On January 30 and 31, the events of Demo Day of the III edition of the Acceleration Program #AceleratesVillaverde and #AceleratesCarabanchel.

The finalist applications had the opportunity to present their projects in format elevator pitch and receive the feedback individualized by the jury of experts, made up of Alberto Moratiel, Isabel Kofoed, Joao Marques dos Santos, Ignacio Menéndez Ros and Ignacio de Miguel Ximénez.

The event was attended by angel child, councilor delegate of the Area of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the Madrid City Council, and of Shell Sheet, councilor of the Villaverde district.

Both were in charge of delivering the awards to the "Better pitch” which were for the projects Vendor Video and Ophthademy. In addition, they closed the event, encouraging the entrepreneurs participating in the program not to give up and continue to rely on the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Madrid.

These acceleration programs of the Villaverde and Carabanchel business incubators has consisted of 4 intense months, in which the finalists have been able to count on specific training sessions, mentoring and meetings to foster communication and leadership skills.

Attendees were able to see all the finalist projects through a presentation made by each of them, as well as the questions that the different members of the jury posed to the founding entrepreneurs.

The IV edition of the acceleration programs is already underway

start the IV Acceleration Program in these two Madrid Emprende business incubators, which will last until June, with ten new projects and business ideas in each incubator.
