On June 30, at the headquarters of the IESE, the closing ceremony and diploma ceremony of the II edition of internationalization course “The world is my market”
After the success of the first edition of the internationalization course for entrepreneurs “The World is my Market" in 2014, Citi Foundation, contributor to the City of Madrid via Madrid Emprende, throw a 2nd edition beside IRCO-IESE, entity in charge of developing the training program, and as a novelty in this edition also in collaboration with the European program Welcome (Startup Europe Initiative).
“The World is my Market"II edition, has been free and has been aimed mainly at entrepreneurs of the City Nursery Network, as well as other entrepreneurs also linked to the Madrid Emprende ecosystem, who have high-potential projects that can be internationalized. In short, to entrepreneurs, start-ups and SMEs who want to start or strengthen their internationalization processes.
It is a training adapted to the reality of technological startups, which aims to go beyond traditional training in foreign trade, by specifically targeting entrepreneurs with global ambition, through content adapted to their needs and a methodology inspired by the best IESE programs. which combines theory with case study and talks by established entrepreneurs and Citi executives.
Likewise, Welcome will take into account the startups that participate in “The world is my market” for other programs that connect the ecosystems of Madrid with Berlin, Dublin and Milan (training workshops, international mentoring, meetings with investors, etc.)
Through this initiative, the City Council consolidates its role as a key agent in promoting and consolidating effective public-private collaborations; in this case with one of the largest banks in the world and a leading business school, always seeking the benefit of entrepreneurs.
