Carmen Rodríguez has a degree in political and administration sciences from the UCM of Madrid and has a master's degree in European studies in Belgium.
He developed his career in consulting and public administration until he began to lead the project: Technical Training Classroom, company specialized in training with more than 10 years of experience and that carries out its activity essentially providing comprehensive solutions for the development of people and entities. In the talk she was accompanied by Jorge Soto, founding partner of Aula Técnica.
Jorge He began the talk by telling us how they developed their business project: “In 1996 we looked for a business opportunity, and we found it through the European funds that were beginning to emerge and we began to obtain funds for different organizations. We decided to channel these subsidies to people, focusing on training by creating the Technical Training Classroom.”, they currently continue to train entrepreneurs and the unemployed, etc. “By obtaining more funds we diversified into other topics such as consulting, new technologies, specific training and formed a company. dedicated to training to respond to these needs”Jorge commented.
Carmen, as a training expert, told us that “We consider transversal and soft skills training essential for entrepreneurship, as well as specific training for entrepreneurs on topics such as Lean, business plan development, etc.…” Carmen also pointed out “We also work on employment training (for unemployed people or for workers). Our courses are free for the person and do not consume credits from the tripartite foundation for the company.”.
As final recommendations for entrepreneurs, Jorge pointed out that "The main problems we have to deal with and take care of are access to customers, financing and scalability of our business. Thinking, planning and disconnecting would be three key aspects for any entrepreneur starting their project.”. Carmen, For his part, he emphasized that “put passion in everything you do from a rational point of view without losing the objective, making mistakes is normal and we should see it as the best of learning”.
