On May 21st it was celebrated in the Madrid International LAB the Closing event of the 4th edition of Pasion>ie, the program that supports entrepreneurs in Madrid, promoted by Accenture and the IE Business School.
During the event, the winners of each of the three categories of which the program is made up were announced: City of the future, Commercial distribution of the future and Healthcare of the future.
With the completion of this 4th call, this initiative is confirmed as a benchmark in the field of entrepreneurship, and demonstrates its unconditional support for innovation and entrepreneurs.
The City of Madrid, via Madrid Emprende, has collaborated with this program as part of the jury that determined the winning projects in addition to offering mentoring to three of the finalist projects: Acordalo.com, Koiki and Rcare.
It should be noted that Madrid Emprende's commitment to entrepreneurs goes further, offering spaces for the development of their projects, as is the case of ketekelo, one of the finalist startups that is currently hosted at the Madrid International LAB.
Pedro González Torroba, director of Madrid Emprende and representing the Madrid City Council, presented the award corresponding to the category of “The city of the future” to metrikea, a solution that allows you to analyze customer behavior in stores, using these metrics to improve the quality of service and increase sales.
Acordalo.com was the one who won the prize “The commercial distribution of the future”, for its online store project where it is the customer who sets and negotiates the price of the products.
Finally, Insulclock, a system that makes life easier for diabetics, was the winning project in the category of “The healthcare of the future”.
The winners of the three categories will receive as prizes the possibility of attending training courses and the transfer of co-working spaces to continue developing their startup in Madrid.
