In this edition, 135 projects have participated for the two award categories: the 2020 Company Award and the 2020 University Entrepreneurs Award. After evaluating all the applications, today the elevator pitch virtually with the projects that obtained the highest number of votes from the jury in each category, after which these candidacies have been left, according to criteria of originality, creativity, disruptiveness, innovation. Projects from traditionally male sectors have also been taken into account.

The third phase will be held in October where the finalists will defend their projects for five minutes in a Demo Day, a public act to define whether it will be face-to-face or virtual depending on the evolution of COVID-19.
The 2020 Entrepreneurs Award is convened in 2 categories, the 2020 Company Award and the 2020 University Entrepreneurs Award, with prizes of 15,000 and 2,000 euros in the first case and 1,000 euros in the second, in addition to different initiatives to disseminate the winning projects that will lead to out the different collaborators and juries of the awards, Womenalia, SEE ME, the Hotel Business Association of Madrid (AEHM), the King Juan Carlos University (URJC) and wave madrid
