During yesterday afternoon, the Madrid International Lab hosted the VII Madrid Emprende Investment Forum, with dozens of investors of very different profiles, interested in learning about the projects of the 10 startup that have been selected directly from the business incubators of the Madrid City Council.
Miquel Costa, President and CEO of Keiretsu Forum Spain -the company awarded the event-, was in charge of the inauguration of the Madrid Emprende Startup Investment Forum. Costa presented this initiative to promote startup and explained the rules of operation.
Continuing with the hybrid format of previous editions, the Forum allowed investors to attend face-to-face and online.
Companies presented
After the opening part, the companies had a few minutes to make their presentation to investors, specifying the why, how and when of their respective startupas well as your expectations.

WEVO
Alternative proteins – €500,000
Design and manufacture of eggs 100 % plant-based in different formats, liquid, poached and cooked, from vegetable proteins, healthy fats, algae and carbohydrates, creating eggs with nutritional profiles similar to those of animal origin.

Energy and environment – €155,000
It helps families, restaurants, farmers and other waste producers to transform their organic waste into clean energy in the form of biogas. Thus, users save on electricity and gas bills while reducing their environmental impact.

Agrotech– €300,000
Create robots for farms to reduce food waste, crop losses by 30 %, labor shortages, labor cost by 50 %, CO2 emissions and workplace accidents on each farm.
IMAGERYST
data analytics – €700,000
It automates the processing of satellite and drone imagery to provide businesses with reliable, global, accurate, and recurring geospatial information. using machine learning and IA, allows to extract the data for its analysis in a simple way.

Tool that revolutionizes the concept of teleworking, promoting the physical and virtual connection between professionals. Eekox shapes the concept of workspace as a service, so that companies can reduce the cost of real estate.
QUANTIC BRAINS
Artificial Intelligence – €600,000
He develops artificial intelligence tools that allow the automation of the creation of audiovisual content and video games.
SOLOFOODIES
Horeca Marketing – €150,000
Connect food content creators (foodies) and restaurants to create high-quality creative content and increase visibility on social media.
FOREST BANK
climatech – €250,000
It applies innovation and technology to the processes of measuring, reducing and offsetting carbon emissions. It offers an exclusive CO2 compensation service with co-financing of forestry projects.
SCREENSOR
Advertising– €200,000
Innovative solution creating a new advertising support based on T-OLED technology (transparent screens). With this, content is emitted on previously unused surfaces, such as the windows of subway cars or buses.
METAWERSO
Metaverse/AI – €450,000
It combines tools that allow, with artificial intelligence and extended realities, to achieve a capture of 30 % more than with traditional advertising, retention of 1000% more compared to the traditional web and conversion of 94 % more than with traditional campaigns.
After the presentations, a question and answer session was opened, where the investors directly questioned the entrepreneurs about the most relevant questions about the product, metrics, market, team, etc.
award for the best startup
The startup best valued by the attending investors was METAWERSO.
The Councilor for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the Madrid City Council, Ángel Niño, was in charge of presenting the award for the best startup of the current edition.
In the award ceremony, Niño highlighted the importance of these investment forums, since they represent a small step for the escalation of entrepreneurial projects. He also thanked the investors for their commitment and their involvement in events of this type.
Recalling the end of the legislature, Niño stated that “the idea of the Madrid Emprende investment forums has been a successful project over the years. In Madrid we want to help entrepreneurs so that the city becomes a benchmark”.
The Madrid Emprende Investment Forum ended with an aperitif networking in which entrepreneurs, investors and other guests were able to chat in a relaxed way and expand their contact agenda.
