- Startup Program is the largest interuniversity entrepreneurship experience in Europe
- The national competition will choose the startup to represent Spain in the European Junior Achievement Europe GEN-E competition
On October 20, the XV edition of Startup Program, the largest interuniversity entrepreneurship program in Europe, organized by the Junior Achievement Foundation Spain with the subsidy of the Madrid City Council through Madrid Emprende, the sponsorship of BBVA, Tikehau Capital, the PwC Foundation, Naturgy, SAP, Spaincap and AT&T and the support as collaborators of Demium and Lanzadera.
The launch event, at the PwC headquarters in Madrid, was welcomed by the General Director of the PwC Foundation, Marta Colomina, and the General Director of the Junior Achievement Spain Foundation, Lucía de Zavala.

This initiative aims to promote the entrepreneurial spirit in the university environment, creating a community of young entrepreneurs. In previous editions, the participation was of more than 250 students from 23 Spanish universities.
Until the month of May, the young people will participate in different training sessions in which they will acquire the necessary knowledge to design their own business plan and launch their entrepreneurial idea.
In parallel, they will receive support from professional volunteers from the Madrid City Council and from different companies such as PwC, Tikehau, Naturgy, BBVA and SAP, AT&T and Spaincap, who will become their mentors throughout the program.
During the month of May, the projects classified to participate in the national competition to be held on June 14 and 15 will be published. On that day, the winning project that will represent Spain in the European Junior Achievement Europe GEN-E competition will be announced, which will take place on July 11 and 14 in Istanbul (Turkey) and will be attended by university students from 20 European countries.
