- Application period for the Digital Kit for companies with 3 to 9 workers is open
- The aid is up to 6,000 euros per company for business digitalization
On September 2, the deadline for companies with between 3 and 9 workers (segment II of the call) to request the Digital Kit began. These grants have a maximum amount of 6,000 euros to improve business digitalization, from creating or renewing the company's website, establishing electronic invoice systems or cybersecurity.
Until the end of October and with the limit of 450,000 applications, interested microenterprises must go to the platform Accelerate SME for telematic processing.
Objectives of the Digital Kit
The aid aims to:
- Multiply the presence of companies in Internet and social networks.
- Promote electronic commerce and digitalized management of clients and suppliers.
- Creation of digital offices.
- Use of electronic invoice and b solutionsusiness intelligence and data analytics.
- Process management and automation.
- Promotion of secure communications and cybersecurity.
- Improved advanced web positioning (SEO).

On this occasion, the call includes more than 9,100 accredited digitizing agents and some new features:
- The figure of the “voluntary representative” is included, authorized to facilitate access to aid as much as possible.
- To request aid, it is not necessary to previously present documentation.
- The characteristics and other peculiarities of each business must be defined in order to plan its implementation.
- The option of subsidizing a hardware concrete whenever it is needed for the development of a specific objective.
- In the event that the beneficiary company already has its domain for the purchased website, it can be used to modify its website, without having to buy a new one.
In relation to the first phase of the call for aid, aimed at SMEs with between 10 and 49 workers, last March concluded with a balance of 68,000 applications and the initial allocation of 25,000 bonds of 12,000 euros each, with a budget of 300 millions of euros. The period to request aid for this first tranche will remain open until September 15.
