On Thursday, June 2, the Vivero de Empresas of Carabanchel hosted a Coffee break who had as a guest Francis Abbot, founder and director of the Business and Society Foundation, whose objective is to promote collaboration between committed businessmen to generate relevant changes and bring about an improvement in the social reality.
The Coffee Break consists of a meeting with a relevant person, where the guest shares his experience with the attendees and tries to answer all the questions that arise.
On this occasion, it was organized in response to a request from those hosted in the Madrid Emprende Network of Business Incubators, who expressed a need for orientation and guidance on the keys to attracting B2B clients to undertake in Madrid.
Pedro Gonzalez Torroba, Director of Madrid Emprende, was in charge of moderating this dynamic meeting in which Francisco Abad also presented the work carried out by his foundation, as well as the Understanding Awards that it organizes.
In the second edition of these awards, the aim was to focus even more on promoting change in the purchasing system of both public and private entities to allow B2B entrepreneurs to join as innovative suppliers.
During the meeting, Francisco Abad conveyed to the attendees his reflections on the pillars on which a good customer acquisition strategy must be established. In the first place, he highlighted the need to be very clear about the following three fundamental questions: What am I selling? Who am I selling it to? And why would they choose me?
Another key point that Abad highlighted is the importance of finding the ideal person within the client to be able to close the deal, someone who needs the product and also has the power to decide on the purchase. Likewise, he wanted to convey the importance of knowing how to combine both rational and emotional arguments in the sales process.
Before sharing a coffee with the attendees, Francisco Abad left a sentence written on the window of the Carabanchel Nursery: "The future depends on everything, on us, on you".
