On September 15, Marta Higueras, Delegate of the Equity, Social Rights and Employment Area, and Concha Díaz de Villegas, General Director of Commerce and Entrepreneurship of the Madrid City Council, together with Minerva Alonso and Inés Jiménez, from the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, have officially presented this big screen that will bring Madrid's fashion month shows closer to Madrid residents and visitors.
From it you can see live the catwalks of MFSHOW MEN and MF SHOW WOMEN, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid and Samsung EGO. It will be open to welcome all the public who want to get to know the news for the following seasons, reaffirming the opening nature of the Madrid City Council in the face of fashion events.
This initiative is part of the Madrid Capital de Moda project (#MCDM), led by the General Directorate, which aims to bring together all the fashion actions carried out in the capital and bring them closer to the general public.
For its part, the Cabildo de Gran Canaria took advantage of the visit to present its program to the people of Madrid Gran Canaria Warm Fashion, relying on Madrid Capital de Moda to present the main events it organizes: Bridal Collection, Gran Canaria Swimwear Fashion Week and Fashion&Friends.
The City Council emphasized the importance that the fashion sector has for the capital, being one of the key pieces of economic activity and attractiveness of our city.
