The final session of Startup Program, the largest interuniversity entrepreneurship program in Spain in which the main universities from all over the national territory have participated, has announced its winning projects. The program, organized by the Junior Achievement Foundation (FJA) and the University-Business Foundation (FUE), has once again had the collaboration of the City Council of Madrid for the celebration of its VIII edition.
During the event, held at the Rafael del Pino Auditorium, the 14 finalist teams presented different business projects. The award has gone to bio, a project resulting from a team from the La salle university and that will represent Spain in the European final next July in Bucharest.
Startup Program is designed to respond to the challenges and needs of university students, encourage their business initiative, bring them closer to the world of work and turn them into job generators. More than 205 students from the 24 most prestigious universities in Spain have participated in this year's edition.
The program is supported by the City of Madrid, through the General Directorate of Commerce and Entrepreneurship, following the line of promotion and support for the youngest, helping them to develop their business projects and make them come true.
Its General Director, Concha Díaz de Villegas, presented the Startup Award – Madrid City Council to the business project viable, with more interest in establishing itself, more innovative, creative and inclusive. This was being inclusive, dedicated to comprehensive inclusive image consultancy, and created by Nerea and Olga Mayoral, tutored by the COIE of the National University of Distance Education (UNED).
One year of stay in the Vivero de Empresas of Carabanchel
Being Inclusive will enjoy a one-year stay at the Vivero de Empresas from Carabanchel, where you will be supervised to start your business career, and you will be able to use the facilities of this Nursery; all within the largest Spanish entrepreneurial ecosystem.
This center is the largest Vivero de Empresas in Spain, with 31 offices to develop different business ideas, as well as training rooms, meeting rooms and an auditorium.
Since its opening in 2009, 85 companies have been or are housed in this Business Incubator, and they have invoiced 39.3 million euros.
