On Thursday, December 4, the first event dedicated exclusively to 3D printing is held in Madrid. Is about 3D EXPO (http://expo3d.es/) and will take place at the facilities of Medialab Prado (http://medialab-prado.es/). An exhibition open to all audiences where you can see different types of printers, demonstrations and attend conferences. A unique opportunity to see first-hand the technology of the new industrial revolution.
On the other hand, the entrepreneurs of this new industry will have the opportunity to learn first-hand about the program fabulous (http://fabulous-fi.eu/) from the European Union, an accelerator that has 5.4 million euros to finance the best 3D printing ideas.
Members of the Spanish Rep Rap group, the Clone Wars (http://www.reprap.org/wiki/Proyecto_Clone_Wars), promoters of 3D printing in Spain, as well as companies and specialists in the sector.
Although the agenda is still open, the participation of:
- Ignacio Garcia, founder of Filaflex, (http://recreus.com/es/4filaflex), the most flexible filament in the world, and creator of the first printed sneakers.
- Rosa Nieves and Borja Garcia from Printed Dreams (http://printeddreams.es/) who will make an introduction to 3D printing.
- Silvia de la Maza from the Biscayan consultancy CARSA will tell the Fabulous programme.
- Gustavo Ferrari of stereo print (http://www.stereoprint.com/), architect and founder of MADfab Hackspace Madrid (http://madfab.es/), digital fabrication laboratory, personal fabrication and free hardware.
- Juan Manuel Amuedo (from Clone Wars) will give an introductory talk on 3D printing, an unmissable event for all those who are interested in setting up their own printer.
- Alberto Valero of B.Q. (http://www.bq.com/es/), and Stephen B. England, of StudyPlan (http://www.studyplan.es/) will talk about 3D printers in Education.
- There will be a balancing talk with Jorge Gómez from Without sleeping (https://sindormir.net/).
There will also be a round of presentations to learn about different models and functionalities of 3D printers. Specifically we will see:

This meeting is organized by the group of 3d print from Madrid, (http://www.meetup.com/Impresion-3D-Madrid/), with the intention of promoting knowledge about this new technology and forming part of a network of similar groups in cities such as London, Paris, Berlin or Barcelona.
