Madrid Emprende and the Créate Foundation organize the III Entrepreneurs Race

With the III Race for Entrepreneurs, Madrid wants to recognize those who are behind each business, each SME and each project, showing their example to others. And there's no better way to do that than to let the entrepreneurial spirit fill the streets. The appointment is on November 24 in the Parque de El Retiro.
This edition of the sporting event is organized at the initiative of Madrid Emprende and the Créate Foundation, with the collaboration of a list of entities committed to disseminating business culture.

As the mayoress, Ana Botella, explained in the presentation of the event «athletes and entrepreneurs share the values of sacrifice, perseverance, competitive spirit, teamwork and effort. Merits that, in addition to being essential for success in any sports and business activity, are contagious when they become visible to the rest of society”.

The good reception of the previous calls for the race, in which nearly 2,500 people participated, has motivated its expansion this year: on the one hand, the route, up to 10 kilometers, although the distance of 5 kilometers from the previous editions. The City Council has also increased the number of registrations to 5,000.

Another novelty of this edition is that the format has been adapted so that many more people can participate: the disabled will have more facilities to take part in the competition, and there will be a parallel race for the youngest, between 10 and 15 years old, explained Ana. Bottle.

More kilometers, more participants and more prizes. In addition to the absolute and veteran categories, awards will be given to the first senior entrepreneurs (over 45 years old) and juniors (between 18 and 21), as well as the company and educational center with the largest number of participants. Runners with a sports business project, those with a social project and entrepreneurs housed or graduated from the City Nursery Network will also receive special recognition.
