Madrid Subterra, a municipal initiative based on public-private collaboration and made up of universities, professional associations, large companies and the Madrid City Council, has successfully completed the first edition of the Contest of Ideas and Projects “Madrid Subterra 2015″in which you were looking promote the exploration and exploitation of the energy potential contained in the urban subsoil for the benefit of urban planning, construction, industry, etc.

For Category I, best doctoral thesis and best final year project, 15 proposals finally opt (12 final year projects and 3 theses). In Category II, aimed at entrepreneurs, 3 projects have been submitted, and in Category III of the Contest, aimed at rewarding more consolidated projects for the use of energy from the urban subsoil, 8 initiatives have been brought together.
The Madrid Subterra Evaluation Committee, which is in charge of analyzing the ideas and projects presented to the Contest He is already working to be able to raise his conclusions and resolve the contest before the end of this month of November.
