The General Director of Commerce and Entrepreneurship of the Madrid City Council, Concha Díaz de Villegas, has presented the event “Speed-Meteting. Accelerator of high-potential projects" that was held today at the Vivero de Empresas from Carabanchel.
One of the problems that startups and companies that are starting out face is getting to present their new technologies, products and services to large companies that might be interested, at the same time that large companies are interested in knowing what new technologies work is underway to evaluate incorporating them into their processes.
For this reason, the Speed-Meeting is one of the activities carried out in the entrepreneurship and acceleration program from this General Directorate, since with this activity it is possible to concentrate both objectives in a short time.
Through short 5-minute interviews, startups present their services in a clear, concise and applied speech to the company they are targeting and giving time to establish contact and exchange contacts for future meetings, if they are of interest.
The objectives of these meetings are to offer feedback and the opinion of large companies to the participating startups; allow to quickly and efficiently form the 5 startups of the High Potential Project Accelerator and the 5 participating invited companies meet their managers; make these large firms aware of the existence of this Accelerator, with projects with high potential and great talent and, above all, open a possible avenue of collaboration between both interested parties.
